The city of Mariupol is an important partner of BETEN International for which the company implements many projects in the areas of environment and urbanism: drinking water and wastewater treatment, waste management, seafront development, street lighting, etc.
Today Mariupol is “Europe’s easternmost city”, as called by Mr Jean Roche, President of BETEN International. This city has gone through difficult times and crises, but it is recovering and turning in its evolution towards Europe.
On September 29 and 30, Mariupol celebrated 240 years. On this occasion, the municipality organized numerous festivities and invited prominent figures: ambassadors, deputies, international partners, CEOs, etc.
Michel Forget, Energy Project Manager, represented BETEN International at this event. On behalf of the company, he congratulated the city of Mariupol and its inhabitants: “We believe that Mariupol is Europe’s easternmost city. As a European city, Mariupol deserves to have modern environmental projects. It deserves to have pure drinking water, waste treatment, a pure sea and a beautiful seafront. Our company will make every effort to help you in implementing these great projects”.
Meanwhile, Jean Roche, President of BETEN International, also sent a video message that was broadcasted during the event and which you can find under the link https://youtu.be/ktHtVT_5V9k.
